Women & Wine Showcase with Geneva Rust Orta

Follow the Crowd and the Cleveland Comedy Festival present a night of laughter with an all-female lineup featuring comedians from all over the country. Each ticket comes with a complimentary glass of wine. This showcase is headlined by Geneva Rust Ora.

Geneva was named Second Funniest Jew at the 2015 Jewish Comedian of the Year Competition in London. In 2016, she took a half-hour stand up show, “Messed Up,” to the Edinburgh, Camden, and Great Yorkshire fringe festivals. In 2017 she returned to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with her half-hour show, “Born with a Bush”. Now living in Oakland with a small tribe of mothers, Geneva performs all over the Bay Area. She placed 3rd in the 2018 Rooster T. Feathers comedy competition (tied with Ryan Goodcase). In addition to writing and performing standup, Geneva is a writer for Killing My Lobster and Nice Tan, two SF-based sketch comedy groups.
